Privacy

The short version: we keep what the game needs to work and what your statistics need to exist. Nothing is sold.

What we keep

• Account: nickname, email address (never shown), encrypted password, chosen location, time zone.
• Games: every answer (question, choice, right or wrong, response time, date), for statistics, rankings and question difficulty.
• Reports: the reason and the comment you write.

What is public

Your nickname, your location (province or country), your statistics and your rank. You can hide all of it in “My account”.

Cookies

• qi_anon: recognises a player without an account, so they do not get the same questions again (2 years).
• qi_region: the location chosen without an account (2 years).
• WordPress login cookies, when you have an account.
• qi_consent: your choice about optional cookies (6 months).

Optional cookies, refused until you accept them:

• Statistics: Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, 2 years) measures the pages visited, the type of device and the approximate region. The data is processed by Google, including outside Canada.

You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookies” button at the bottom of every page.

If ads are shown, the ad network and its cookies will be listed here, and your consent asked first.

Your rights

To get your data or delete your account, write to contact@quizinfernal.com. Answers from a deleted account are anonymised: they keep helping to rate question difficulty.
